Root Sequence Thought Routing

Short definition

An organization-wide convention invoked with RS?, “route this,” or “put this places”: capture a thought and its provenance once, search current work, choose one canonical substantive home, and add only useful links or project-specific transformations.

Why it matters

Ideas often appear in conversation before their destination is clear. Without a shared intake convention, the same thought may disappear, remain trapped in a transcript, or be copied into several projects that later drift apart.

The convention keeps capture easy while separating routing state, epistemic status, project-local canon, visibility, and publication. Invocation never means automatic publication or canonization.

Ecosystem use

  • Root Sequence: owns the routing workflow and ecosystem-level source-of-truth rules.
  • Root Sequence Wiki: keeps the stable name, aliases, relationships, provenance, and canonical link.
  • Root Sequence Console: provides a private local capture, similarity-signal, queue, and export surface without becoming the durable owner.
  • Project repositories: keep substantive records, local statuses, canon, research, decisions, and implementations.
  • Project Stewardship: may validate deterministic consequences and generated views while leaving semantic routing decisions for review.

Narrower prompts remain scoped. BHIG?, for example, asks for Being Human(e) / Atlas routing unless a wider Root Sequence pass is also requested.

  • Graph, Not Filing Cabinet: one identity can appear through many generated or project-specific views.
  • Synthesis as Infrastructure: connections and contradictions remain maintained rather than reconstructed from memory.
  • Project Stewardship: automation remembers explicit dependencies but does not decide meaning.
  • User-Configurable Cognitive Interfaces: RS? is a semantic control over a routing workflow rather than a fixed folder command.
